Course description
Two laps through central Stockholm, passing the Royal Palace, City Hall, Opera and Parliament, plus the woods of the royal Djurgården park. Much of the race runs along scenic waterfronts, making it one of the world's most beautiful marathons. The finish is inside the 1912 Olympic Stadium.
Coach tip
- The Västerbron bridge has to be run twice — pace yourself and stay steady on the bridges, where the wind can catch you out. The course's total elevation difference is only 29 m. Savour the finish on the track of the historic 1912 Olympic Stadium.
