Course description
A fast, flat spring half marathon and a popular season opener in Berlin. From a start with a view of the Victory Column, the course runs across the city centre past many landmarks to the finish at the Brandenburg Gate — wide roads and around 40 bands make it a genuine PB course.
Coach tip
- Often still quite cool — a good fitness check before summer. The course is flat and fast, so use the wide roads to settle into an even rhythm. Don't get swept along too quickly in the dense field early on; at the Brandenburg Gate the crowds push you home.
