Course description
The Deutsche Post Marathon Bonn is a flat spring race along the Rhine through Germany's former capital — passing the Post Tower and the Museum Mile. The traffic-free two-loop course finishes in a great atmosphere on the Marktplatz in front of the historic Old Town Hall.
Coach tip
- Flat and right along the Rhine — in cool spring weather a good chance for a PB or Boston qualifier. Few turns make it easy to hold a steady rhythm. Pace the two loops deliberately and save some reserves for the second half on the way to the Marktplatz finish.
