Course description
A cult classic in the Rhineland and one of Germany's most atmospheric triathlons. Famous for the Rhine swim, with a jump off a car ferry into the fast current, and the short but very rolling bike course in the Siebengebirge hills. The flat 15 km run becomes a fast finale.
Coach tip
- Jumping off the Rhine ferry is an absolute highlight. Position yourself in the middle of the river for maximum current.
- The bike is short (60km) but rolling. Pace yourself well on the steep climbs.
- The run is flat and crowd-friendly, but since it is only 15km, you will run a higher pace.
