Course description
A cult classic in the Rhineland and one of Germany's most atmospheric triathlons. Famous for the Rhine swim, with a jump off a car ferry into the fast current, and the short but very rolling bike course in the Siebengebirge hills. The flat 15 km run becomes a fast finale.
Coach tip
Jumping off the Rhine ferry is an absolute highlight. Position yourself in the middle of the river for maximum current.
The bike is short (60km) but rolling. Pace yourself well on the steep climbs.
The run is flat and crowd-friendly, but since it is only 15km, you will run a higher pace.
