Course description
A loop through the Bottwartal north of Stuttgart, over surfaced field paths and through the historic centres of Beilstein, Oberstenfeld and Grossbottwar. Mostly flat with a flat finish, starting and finishing in Steinheim an der Murr.
Coach tip
The field-path sections are surfaced but narrow — there is little room to pass in the opening kilometres.
A six-hour cut-off makes this date workable for a first marathon.
The entry fee rises from 50 to 60 euros on 30 September — if you are sure, enter before then.
