Course description
The Three-Country Marathon at Lake Constance links Germany, Austria and Switzerland in a single race. The flat course runs largely along the lakeshore with views of water and mountains, finishing in Bregenz — a scenic route that is also well suited to a personal best.
Coach tip
- Flat and mostly along the lakeshore — ideal for an even pace. Three countries in one race is the real charm, and the border crossings provide a welcome distraction. Aid stations are frequent, but bring your own gels to be safe. Watch for wind on the open lakefront stretches.
