Course description
A flat autumn marathon through the Hanseatic city of Bremen, the city's largest running event since 2006. The course links the old town, Neustadt, Lake Werdersee, the Bürgerpark and the Überseestadt, running along the Schlachte on the Weser to a finish near the Bremen Roland statue.
Coach tip
- Flat along the Weser — good conditions for an even pace and a personal best. North Sea wind is possible, and the second half partly heads toward the coast, so plan for headwind sections. Use the varied city districts as mental stages to break up the distance.
