Course description
By far the second-largest half marathon in the UK and part of the SuperHalfs series. The flat, fast course starts at Cardiff Castle, passes the Principality Stadium and crosses the Cardiff Bay Barrage, loops around Roath Park Lake and finishes by the grandstand at the Civic Centre.
Coach tip
- Flat and fast with wide roads — a genuine PB chance, so pace evenly from the start. The Roath Park Lake loop comes late in the race, so keep some reserves there. The spectacular finish at the Civic Centre and loud crowds carry you through the closing kilometres.
