Course description
One of Europe's fastest half marathons, with around 29,000 runners. The flat, wide, fully closed course runs through Østerbro, Nørrebro, Frederiksberg and the inner city, past landmarks like the Old Stock Exchange. Near-world-record times have been set here, and Copenhagen hosts the 2026 World Championships.
Coach tip
- Records are set here — the wide, closed roads and flat course invite a personal best. You can attack from the gun, but keep your pace even and use groups for drafting. The loud, dense crowds carry you to the finish in the green Fælledparken.
