Course description
A city triathlon and the only middle distance in Hesse. The swim is in Lake Langener Waldsee, followed by a fully closed bike course along the Main embankment into downtown Frankfurt. The finish is right in the city centre at the Hauptwache — an urban race with a great atmosphere.
Coach tip
The swim in Langener Waldsee has good water quality but is often murky — sight the buoys consistently. The bike runs partly on wide main roads: fully closed and quick, but watch for corners and tram tracks. Let the urban crowds carry you to the finish at the Hauptwache in the city centre.
