Course description
One of Switzerland's most beautiful and fastest marathons. It starts in Cologny, then runs through fields, vineyards and villages around Geneva before following the shore of Lake Geneva. The finish lies on the Pont du Mont-Blanc opposite the Jet d'Eau — gently rolling, yet fast enough for many PBs.
Coach tip
Gently rolling but fast — not completely flat. The first half has slightly more descent than climb, so don't get carried away there. The vineyards in the second half are scenically superb but undulating, so ration your strength. The alpine panorama serves as your reward along the way.
