Course description
A flat half marathon through the old town of Graz with a section along the Mur river. Start and finish are at Karmeliterplatz, and the course runs through the Stadtpark and the university district of Geidorf. The backdrop of the Schlossberg and clock tower turns the race into a sightseeing tour of Styria's capital.
Coach tip
Flat and fast through the old town — good for an even pace. The section by the clock tower and Schlossberg is a real highlight: lift your head and enjoy the scenery. Watch for corners and surface changes in the narrow old-town lanes, and the course runs smoothly and quickly.
