Course description
A flat, fast spring marathon through Hannover with start and finish at the New Town Hall. With only around 20 metres of elevation, wide roads and sections along the Maschsee, this World Athletics Label race is among the flattest marathons in Germany — ideal for a PB, with shade in the Eilenriede forest.
Coach tip
Extremely flat and fast — lock into your target pace from the start. Long straights can feel mentally tough, so set intermediate goals and run in a group where possible. The Maschsee section and the Eilenriede urban forest break up the course and offer welcome shade on warm days.
