Course description
Germany's largest spring marathon and a sightseeing tour through the Hanseatic city. The pancake-flat course (course record 2:03:46) runs along the Elbe and through the city — fast, but weather-prone, as wind and rain can change conditions. The crowd atmosphere is incredible.
Coach tip
Flat and fast but weather-prone — plan for wind and rain and adjust clothing and pace. The infamous 'man with the hammer' often hits at Eppendorfer Baum: ration your energy and keep your pace in check until then. The incredible atmosphere will carry you through the final kilometres.
