Course description
Ireland's 'friendly marathon', renowned for its warm atmosphere. From kilometre 6 the course runs through Phoenix Park, Europe's largest enclosed city park, passing Dublin Zoo. The route is gently undulating with a few climbs, and the unpredictable Irish weather is part of the experience.

Not a pancake-flat course — the middle section is gently undulating with a few climbs, so ration your energy. The weather is unpredictable, so plan for wind and rain. The warm, full-throated crowd support, with pubs lining the route, will carry you when the second half gets tough.
