Course description
A half-distance race in Elsinore, Denmark, starting in the harbour in front of the historic Kronborg Castle, Hamlet's castle. The two-loop bike runs along the North Zealand coast and countryside, and the run circles the castle over cobblestones. Fast, cool and steeped in culture, near Copenhagen.
Coach tip
The water is often cold — wetsuits are usually mandatory, so test yours beforehand. The two-loop bike has around 450 metres of climbing: not pancake-flat, so save energy for the rolling sections. On the run around Kronborg, cobblestone sections make footing uneven, so adjust your stride there.
