Course description
One of the world's largest 70.3 races, with the swim starting in the Bay of Alcúdia. The bike runs through the Serra de Tramuntana, featuring the big climb to the Coll de Femenia (around 7.6 km at 6%) and up to the Lluc Monastery. The flat three-loop run follows the bay to the beach finish.
Coach tip
The big climb to the Coll de Femenia comes relatively early — ride it steadily and don't over-pace, or you'll pay on the run. The descent that follows demands full focus. The flat, low-shade run along the bay can get hot and windy: drink regularly and keep cooling yourself throughout.
