Course description
A spring season opener in Valencia. The swim takes place in the usually calm marina, followed by a fast bike course along the sea and through the Sierra Calderona with some windy sections. The flat run follows the green Turia riverbed park, passing the iconic Ciudad de las Artes.
Coach tip
The harbour swim is usually calm, but the April water is cool (around 16–17°C): a wetsuit is essential, and pack warm clothing in your T1 bag. Expect windy sections on the bike — ride to power. Use the flat, fast Turia run to hold an even PB pace through the red-carpet finish.
