Course description
An extremely flat and fast IRONMAN 70.3 course in Hoorn. The swim takes place in the historic harbor, followed by a lightning-fast but often windy bike course through the scenic Westfriesland countryside, and a vibrant run through the historic city center.
Coach tip
A flat, fast course, but typically windy in North Holland — that wind is the decisive factor. Ride low and aero, to power rather than speed, and don't overcook it into headwinds. The harbour swim is usually calm. The flat run through the historic city centre is quick and ideal for an even finish.
