Course description
Famous for its atmosphere. The swim is in the Kalmar Sound, then the single-loop bike crosses the 6 km Öland Bridge to the island of Öland and loops back over rolling Småland — usually the bridge is off-limits to bikes. The flat run finishes in the unforgettable 'Heroes Hour'.
Coach tip
The wind on the long Öland Bridge can cost a lot of energy — ride there low, controlled and to power. The bike is flat with some rolling sections on Öland. The crowds carry you to the finish: the 'Heroes Hour' at the line is unforgettable, so enjoy every single metre.
