Course description
A hidden gem in Spain with an incredible atmosphere. The swim is in the calm, clean Landa lake (often praised as Europe's best swim), followed by a rolling bike course through Basque Álava. The flat multi-loop city marathon thrives on the frenetic crowd support.
Coach tip
Enjoy the calm swim in the clean lake — a controlled start. The rolling bike is scenic, but don't let it distract you and ride to power. It gets cool in the evening on the multi-loop run: have something warm ready for the late kilometres and soak up the atmosphere.
