Course description
A slightly hilly marathon through Kassel, the city of the Brothers Grimm. Parts of the course lead through the UNESCO World Heritage Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe with its water features. With around 250 metres of climbing, it's not a pure PB course, but scenically and culturally rewarding.
Coach tip
Rolling — this is not a pure PB course, so ration your energy and don't over-pace the climbs. The Bergpark section is demanding but beautiful. The Hercules monument above the park is a great mental landmark to focus on when your legs start to feel heavy.
