Course description
A flat marathon along the Danube in Upper Austria, starting on the Voest Bridge. The fast, well-organised city course runs largely along the river and makes fast times possible. A spectator-friendly route through Linz with consistently even terrain throughout.
Coach tip
Very flat along the Danube — ideal for a PB, but factor in the wind off the river and run in sheltered groups. The consistently flat course is perfect for a controlled pacing strategy: hold an even pace and avoid starting too fast to keep something for the finish.
