Course description
A flat city marathon in the Slovenian capital, starting and finishing on Congress Square. Two hours from Carinthia or Styria and, at 70 euros, one of the cheapest of the big autumn dates.
Coach tip
A flat course and October temperatures — a date on which a target time can be planned cleanly.
The trip from southern Austria is short enough for a weekend without flying.
The marathon runs two laps; pace it by lap rather than by kilometre.
