Course description
Alongside Berlin and Valencia, one of the fastest marathons in the world. The pancake-flat course through Rotterdam starts at the Erasmus Bridge and finishes on the Coolsingel. Hundreds of thousands of spectators create a unique atmosphere — several world records have been set here.
Coach tip
The Erasmus Bridge is practically the only elevation and is crossed twice (at the start and around km 26): take care there, otherwise it's pancake-flat. Ideal for a PB — find a group early and run evenly. The huge crowd carries you over the closing kilometres to the finish.
