Course description
Germany's northernmost long-distance triathlon, the 'Hawaii of the North'. The swim is in the open sea of the Flensburg Fjord (with jellyfish), followed by a flat, fast bike course through the rolling Angeln countryside. The entertaining run loop follows the coastline.
Coach tip
The jellyfish in the fjord are mostly harmless — stay calm and swim under control. The bike is fast but has some rolling sections in Angeln: ride evenly to power. The entertaining coastal run loop can be paced well by setting yourself intermediate goals to the finish.
