Course description
A city half marathon as part of the SportScheck RUN Nuremberg. The loop runs through the historic old town and towards Lake Wöhrder See – a classic road race right in the city centre. The mix of medieval backdrop and open lakeside sections gives the run its appeal.
Coach tip
Plan for the old-town sections with their curves and narrow spots — find your rhythm early there and don't waste energy. Around Wöhrder See it can be exposed and windy: run sheltered. A negative split is realistic if the first 5–8 km stay relaxed and under control.
