Course description
A breathtaking and extremely challenging point-to-point classic across Switzerland. After the swim in Lago Maggiore near Ascona, the route crosses the Gotthard, Furka and Grimsel passes before the final mountain run up to Kleine Scheidegg awaits beneath the Eiger — around 5,500 metres of climbing.

The Tremola (Gotthard Pass) has historic cobblestones, prepare mentally and equipment-wise.
The final mountain run up to Kleine Scheidegg is extremely steep. A run-walk strategy is standard.
