Course description
The finale of the Challenge series at the x-bionic sphere near Bratislava, over 2 km / 80 km / 18 km and, with 68 metres of climbing, one of the fastest courses anywhere. Note: not an open-entry race — age-group slots have to be qualified for at other Challenge races.
Coach tip
Decide where you want to qualify before setting this as a goal — the slot comes from another race, not from a registration.
A course without climbing rewards pure sustained output; what counts is how long you can hold a given power, not how well you climb.
Because the field is qualified it goes fast from the gun — do not let others pull you off your own pacing on the bike.
