Course description
The new 'Berlin': one of the fastest marathons in the world with under 30 metres of elevation. In early December the running weather is often perfect. The flat course through Valencia with its long straights has seen numerous world records — a dream for any personal best.
Coach tip
Perfect for a PB, but the long straights invite fast running: start under control and run evenly. The December weather is often ideal — not too hot, not too cold. Find a suitable pace group early and push through consistently so you don't fade late in the race.
