Course description
A popular half marathon along the shores of Lake Wörthersee in Carinthia. The flat, fast course runs along the turquoise lake through the region around Klagenfurt. The picturesque lake scenery and the mild climate make this run a summer highlight in Austria.
Coach tip
Flat along the lakeshore — ideal for a PB, so run evenly and find a group. In high summer it can get warm and humid: drink early and regularly and use the aid stations consistently. The picturesque lake scenery helps mentally over the final kilometres to the finish.
