Course description
A scenic run around Lake Wolfgangsee in the Salzkammergut region. The hilly course with around 300 metres of elevation runs along the lakeshore with stunning Alpine panoramas. A steep, wooded section between St. Wolfgang and St. Gilgen provides the biggest challenge.
Coach tip
Hilly with a few steep climbs — factor in particularly the steep, wooded section between St. Wolfgang and St. Gilgen and pace your effort well. The panorama is stunning but distracting: stick to your pace and run the descents under control to spare your legs.
